Acordamos e nao é que o homem que dorme debaixo de mim (Sim Tia Benedita, este é o hostel onde pagamos mais 1 euro para estar num quarto só de raparigas. Aiai.), me diz que gosta de Fernando Pessoa e de Camoes. Fiquei boquiaberta, mas la fui tomar o piqueno almoco com a Mariana. Voltamos ao quarto e nao é que os tres Chineses do nosso quarto falam os tres um Portugues meio macarronico (mas falam), porque estao a estudar em Leiria?? Mas ca ganda coincidencia!! Nao é? Ha uma que fala melhor que os outros entao eu disse "ah, mas tu falas melhor!" e ela explicou "é porque eu tenho um namorada portugues, o Marcelo". Ha. Ha. Ha. Agora a crise é que eles voltam pra Macau, e o pobre Marcelao fica pra traz! Tadinhooo.
Pusemo-nos a caminho do Palacio Imperial, nao chegamos la, mas chegamos à area dos museus. Vimos mil museus hoje! Primeiro o Fish and Chips, Twice Please! Exposicao de moda, vinda directamente desde Londres. (Duma universidade onde nao entrei, oops.) Bem, so vos digo que a moda vai num mau caminho! A seguir vimos o museu de arte moderna ("arte"), e depois almocamos ali. é um sitio muita giro com "bancos" cor de rosa onde as pessoas abancam a apanhar sol e a ouvir musica (DJ e tudo!), coisa que nos tambem fizemos!
Ja descansaditas fomos ver: instrumentos do seculo IX, as joias reais, umas ruinas romanas e as seguintes igrejas: St Michael, St Stephan, Augustinian Friars, e ainda a capela do palacio imperial. Sim, escrevi tudo em Ingles, por nao calha muito bem traduzir os nomes, e depois nao acertar!
Depois desta boa doze de cultura ainda fomos passear por ai. Perdidas?? Naoooo. Simplesmente gostamos da aventura, do desconhecido!!
Agora estamos de volta ao hsotel onde a internet é caréeeerrima!

Gostei muito das noticias de Viena e Praga. Roguem uma praga ao homem do hostal e digam-lhe que vianam-se embora se ele continuar a ser malcriado.
ReplyDeleteCoisas para fazer em Viena...para alem de lojas e sentarem-se na rua a tomar uma bebida, ver as pessoas passarem e os musicos tocarem (o melhor):
1. Ride the streetcar around the Ring, a series of roads that encircle the old city, or Innere Stadt. Lining this route are the Hofburg (Imperial Palace), the Museum of Natural History, the Kunsthistorisches Museum (Museum of Fine Arts), the Burgtheater, and the State Opera House, as well as Vienna’s City Park.
2. Explore the world of the Hapsburgs at their Imperial Palace, the Hofburg. The Hapsburgs ruled the vast Austro-Hungarian Empire for centuries and influenced much of Europe through political marriages. Take a tour of the Imperial Apartments for a glimpse of the Hapsburg version of “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.” Also visit the Treasury to see the crown jewels of the empire.
3. Tour St. Stephen’s Cathedral, or Stephansdom. go underground for a guided tour of the catacombs.
4. Enjoy a performance of the famous Lipizzan stallions of the Spanish Riding School, a unique ballet accompanied by classical music. You may purchase tickets to see a performance, or to view one of the morning training sessions. Check for times and availability.
5. Visit the Kunsthistorisches Museum (Museum of Fine Arts) to see some of the art treasures collected by the Imperial family. The wealthy Hapsburgs amassed a collection which included works by Bruegel, Raphael, Rubens, Rembrandt, Durer, Titian, Vermeer, and many others, as well as artifacts from ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome.
6. Browse the shops on Mariahilferstrasse, the trendiest shopping area in Vienna, for fashions, jewelry, accessories and everything else. Department stores and shops line the street for about a mile between the city center and Westbahnhof.
7. Stroll the gardens at Schonbrunn, the baroque palace that was the summer home of the imperial family. Take the palace tour to see some of the lavish rooms, including the Hall of Mirrors, where six-year-old Mozart gave a concert for Queen Maria Theresa. The vast grounds encompass classically landscaped gardens, a zoo, and a maze. Overlooking the park is the grand Gloriette, a monument to Queen Maria Theresa. Climb to the top for breathtaking views of Schonbrunn and Vienna.
8. Take a coffee break at one of Vienna’s famous coffee houses. There are many to choose from, but the most famous is probably the Café Sacher, home of the notoriously rich Sacher cake.
9. Experience the rich multiculturalism of Vienna on Saturdays at the Naschmarkt, the largest open-air market in Vienna. This is a flea market as well as a food market, where you’ll find everything from fruits and vegetables to baklava and strudel.
10. Attend an opera or a concert. Music is the heartbeat of Vienna, and it’s easy to find an event that fits your taste. The State Opera House, the Volksoper Wien, the Musikverein, and the Konzerthaus are just a few of the many venues available. Hear the famous Vienna Boys Choir in the chapel at the Hofburg. Or, if you prefer more contemporary music, there are many clubs throughout the city.

Ah apanhei-as no H & M, suas malandrecas. Isso é que é a atração dos saldos. Não se preocupem. aqui já começaram, se são bons bem não deu pra ver pois só estive no M.Dutti a tentar descobrir um vestido que não fosse uma mini saca de batatas. É, a moda vai por mau caminho, quem veste aquelas porcarias ? Que esforço...por isso não fui às vossas lojas , mas tb não iria sem a minha Fofinha nº 3, que descobre sempre as coisas mais giras. Amor de Mãe. Quando voltarem vou com vocês à Primark, ou ao Freeport. Horror de promessa, mas sim posso ir, especialmente se a tia Benedita alinhar. Alinhas Benedita ?
